Derrick Lewis to the 2026 coaching staff. Lewis was a McDonald’s All- American out of high school, and four year starter at the University of Maryland from 1984-1988 and went on to play professional basketball. Lewis achieved many accolades and during his time in France he recorded the ONLY quadruple-double in French League History. Lewis will join Coach Ed Corporal as his assistant coach.

Running basketball clinics and teaching basketball to school aged kids through the Derrick Lewis Basketball School. I still like to play basketball, and I’m pretty good at bowling. Lastly, I spend time watching movies at home with my wife every night.”
